Spiritual and Existential Therapy May Be For You If …

  • You're seeking a greater connection to - yourself, the universe, nature, God.

  • You want to be able to discern between intuition and anxiety.

  • You were raised in a rigid religious tradition and you want to create an authentic spiritual practice on your own terms.

  • You're wondering about purpose and meaning.

When You’re Asking the Bigger Questions - Spiritually-Integrated Therapy in Oakland & Throughout California

You move through your days like you always have. You’re responsible, successful and love the people in your life. But still, you can’t escape this feeling like there’s something more.

You long to feel connected and part of something greater. Especially these days. They days this crazy, beautiful world feels out of control.

It’s not the kind of connected that your family’s religion talked about when you were a kid, but the kind that feels authentic and nourishing to you now. Maybe even a spiritual practice that centers women.

At night, when everyone’s gone to bed, you find yourself scrolling Amazon and Instagram - though, honestly, you wish you had the energy to make it to the library. You find yourself drawn to content about feminist spirituality, mystic traditions, dreams, and tarot and intuition. Some days you’re learning about Buddhism or quantum physics and others about the Witch-Wound. You even dabble with the idea of buying your own tarot deck or maybe you have.

But then you shut your laptop. Suddenly it all feels like too much. Maybe you judge yourself for being "too woo."

Maybe you worry what your partner, friends, or family would think. And then there’s the imposter syndrome.

Am I spiritual enough?

I get it. This is not the version of you that anyone would expect. But who says the most pragmatic amongst us can’t also have spiritual lives? You're evolving.

Questions of meaning, purpose, and spirit have moved to the forefront of your life.

What you're experiencing is often called spiritual emergence. It can be overwhelming, but with the right support, unbelievably exciting.

Does any of this sound familiar?

  • You’re no longer satisfied with surface-level answers.

  • You’re seeking support, but talk therapy alone feels limited.

  • You’re highly-sensitive and feel like you absorb the energy in the room.

  • You feel anxious about the state of the world and crave a deeper way to make sense of it.

  • You want to trust your intuition, but it’s hard to tell what’s intuition and what’s anxiety.

  • You’re drawn to tarot practice, astrology and other ancient arts, but you’re not sure where to start.

  • You’ve noticed your dreams have become more vivid and you’re curious about what your unconscious is telling you.

  • You wonder about what it means to age and what entering one’s “crone era” really means.

  • You want practices to help you feel grounded.

  • You feel a connection to something/someone larger.

Welcome, you’re in the right place - Spiritual & Existential Therapy in Oakland and throughout California

I offer a thoughtful, grounded space to explore life's deeper questions. Here matters of the spirit are centered, rather than an afterthought.

Our work is collaborative and tailored to you. As we explore your inner world, we'll pay attention to the stories you've inherited, the beliefs you've outgrown, and the ones that genuinely resonate with who you're becoming.

Some sessions might focus on:

  • Unpacking a dream that won't leave you alone and exploring what your unconscious may be asking you to notice.

  • Working with a therapeutic tarot spread to uncover patterns, clarify a decision, or create meaningful behavior changes aligned with your values.

  • Processing existential anxiety about climate change, political unrest, aging, mortality, or finding purpose in an uncertain world.

  • Creating a personal ritual to honor grief, celebrate a life transition, or mark the beginning of a new chapter.

  • Designing an altar or sacred space that reflects your own spiritual path and intentions.

  • Exploring recurring symbols, synchronicities, or intuitive experiences with curiosity rather than fear.

  • Examining inherited beliefs and deciding which spiritual, religious, or cultural traditions still feel authentic to you.

  • Using guided imagery or expressive arts to access emotions and insights that are difficult to reach through words alone.

  • Talking. Sometimes the most meaningful session is simply having a thoughtful conversation about the big questions - meaning, identity, purpose, love, death, and what makes a life well-lived.

There is no right or wrong way to do this work.

What Becomes Possible with Therapy that Tends to the Spirit

Reclaiming your own intuition, questioning inherited beliefs, and creating a spiritual practice that reflects your values is an act of self-trust and self-definition. It's another way of becoming more fully yourself.

Over time, many women doing this work find themselves moving through the world with a greater sense of steadiness and ease.

You may begin to:

  • Trust your intuition without constantly second-guessing yourself.

  • Feel more connected to your inner wisdom and the world around you.

  • Develop spiritual practices that feel authentic rather than performative.

  • Experience more meaning, wonder, and moments of awe in everyday life.

  • Understand your dreams, symbols, and inner experiences with curiosity instead of fear.

  • Feel more grounded during uncertainty and major life transitions.

  • Release guilt or shame around exploring beliefs that differ from the ones you were raised with.

  • Move through midlife with a renewed sense of purpose, possibility, and connection.

My offerings were developed to support women in delving deep and cultivating the kind of personal insight and sovereignty that helps change their lives and ultimately, the world they live in.

Whether your journey leads you back to the faith you grew up with, toward a new spiritual tradition, or simply into a deeper relationship with yourself, I'll be honored to walk alongside you.

When you feel ready, I’d love to hear from you.
